CATHAY PACIFIC OPENS NEW ELEMIS DAY SPA IN HONG KONG

Cathay Pacific Airways today opened a new day spa at its lounges at
Hong Kong International Airport, offering top-of-the-line beauty care
services and products to its First Class and Business Class passengers.
The new Elemis Day Spa, operated by experienced and high-quality spa
operator Beautiful Skin Centre, is the first spa to be opened by any
airline in Asia.

The new spa is located on Level 6 of The Wing, Cathay Pacific's stylish
First Class and Business Class lounges. The spa provides a range of
beauty and relaxation services for both male and female passengers. The
services are specially designed for frequent passengers and include a
wide range of innovative treatments. The treatments include hair and
skin care, body and facial massage, as well as spa and reflexology
services.

The new spa has been specially designed to match the tranquil
environment of The Wing and to follow Elemis Day Spa's own holistic
philosophy. All elements of the spa, including lighting, music and aroma
are geared towards creating a relaxing, therapeutic atmosphere and a
calming environment to help replenish and refresh passengers.

"The new Elemis Day Spa will help us provide an even more complete
range of services for our highly-valued First and Business Class
passengers," said Robert Cutler, Cathay Pacific's Director Service
Delivery. "Leisure and business travellers searching for the ultimate
relaxation, or business executives looking for some stress relief will
both find the spa highly attractive."

The new day spa will open at 8:30am each morning and operate until the
departure of the last Cathay Pacific flight, typically around midnight.
All Cathay Pacific's First Class and Business Class passengers can use
the spa on a walk-in basis or by making an advance booking. Elemis Day
Spa offers Cathay Pacific's The Marco Polo Club Diamond members a 20%
discount on any service, Gold and Silver members 15%, and Green members
10%. During the opening period, passengers booking a facial can get a
free back massage while Club members can get a foot rub on their second
visit. The first 50 Club members will receive Elemis skincare products.

In addition to the spa, The Wing has seen a number of recent additions
including new seating areas, a self-service bar, a stylish new personal
entertainment system called "The Pebble", improved food and beverage
services, and artwork by Barnaby Gordon.

Elemis Day Spa is the operating name for the worldwide franchising of
the Beautiful Skin Centre (BSC). BSC was established in Hong Kong in
1991 to provide consumers with the finest quality care for overall body
and skincare needs. In 1998 BSC became formally associated with the
Steiner Leisure Group, a leading consultant, developer, and operator and
skincare manufacturer and distributor.
