Trident At Heathrow

Wed Jul 14, 2004 2:28 am

Whats the story with the BEA Trident parked at LHR? Saw it last night when departing for JNB, was a nice flashback, I remember flying on one LHR-LIS in January 1973.
After Monday and Tuesday even the calendar says WTF...

Was Painted up in BEA colours a few years ago by the Trident Preservation Society. It is G-AWZK and will soon be transported to Manchester by road to join the Concorde, RJX and the DC-10 cockpit in the aviation viewing park.
For more info go to,

Flying may not be all plain sailing, but the fun of it is worth the price.
