Air Scotland At NCL

Thu Jul 15, 2004 1:05 am

Have the Air Scotland flights from NCL finished for the summer season already? I noticed on the timetable on the website that only flights from EDI and GLA are shown.

It would be strange if they have ended as the school holidays have only just started.

The Air Scotland flights from NCL are weird as they never seem to know where they are flying to  Insane

So to re-cap. we have a Dutch airline, called Air Scotland, which then became a Greek airline, and which flies from England.

The NCL flights start in Scotland, I don't know how many flights NCL has but one does EDI-NCL-PMI.
As far as I'm concerned they are a well, dodgy outfit. Flights are often cancelled and they only have the one 752.
They aren't much cheaper than Flyglobespan, it's quite amazing that they are still going actually!

No Welsh or Irish (do you mean Northern Irish?) connection, but an addition to your recap....

A 'Scottish' airline that originally used a Greek airline to operate its flights that found the Greek airline wasn't much good so it got a Dutch airline instead to operate its flights, but the Dutch airline wasn't much liked by many people at all least of all its banks that said couldnt have any more money so it couldn't fly anymore so then the 'Scottish' airline got another Greek airline to pretend to be Scottish and although the first Greek airline wasn't much good the new Greek airline was often exactly the same people as the first Greek airline but that never seemed to bother the 'Scottish' airline much...... Wink/being sarcastic

Seriously though... what amazes many is that Air Scotland is still around - is there a tour operator that takes up an allocation of many of the seats?
I don't like signatures...

Diesel 1 - Yes, there is a holiday operator that is owned by the same people as Air Scotland. I think it might be Viva Holidays or something like that.

However, given the amount of late deals that appear on their website which seem to be available on every flight, I'm not sure how many seats the company is using.

Regarding the delays on their flights, I noticed that they do not appear on anymore.
