MEA Cedars Class?

Fri Jul 16, 2004 8:35 pm

I've flown MEA A321 on May, and was surprised to know that they have intorducted Cedar Class again!! Since the rebranding of MEA in 1997, I knew that Cedar Class (sometimes also know as Cedars Club as far as a know before 1997) was dropped, and Front Class was introduced.

What happened with Front? Does Cedars differ? In what? And is there a difference between Cedar on A330's and A320's? Anyways, I've never flown Business, so can anyone tell if MEA's bussiness class really compares to others, namely, EK, AF, BA, KL... etc..

One more thing, there's no single photo for MEA Cabin interior... Why is that? Does anybody have new cabin photos? Plsss post them.

And btw, regarding these news you post on MEA, non of them is posted on the MEA website. Unfortunately, it's true.... their website is a shame...

Front Class was dropped and replaced with the 'new' Cedar Class with the acquisition of MEA's brand new fleet.

MEA's entire brand new fleet is equipped with Cedar Class.

As for what Cedar Class looks like, take a look:

Cedar Class on both the A321s and A330s is exactly the same except the rims around the PTVs on the A321 are dark navy blue, while they are white on the A330-200s. The PTV system on the A330 is also AVOD (Audio/Video on Demand) while on the A321, it is a normal multi-channel broadcast. However, I heard they will be upgrading it to AVOD soon.

MEA also introduced a brand new Economy Class with its new fleet!
