Any Other 'Air Jamaica's' US Gateways Seeing....

Sat Jul 17, 2004 7:15 am

...Miami Air's 737-800s. For the 2nd time in 2 weeks IAH has seen Miami Air, 737-800s fill in for JM's standard A320 service. I am curious if MCO, MIA, ATL, BWI, LAX, ORD, FLL, JFK are seeing this as well? I am assuming that this is due to equipment shortages though something in the back of my head is saying that IAH is not filling up enough seats.

I see their A321s in the morning at EWR as I pass on the NJ Turnpike, nothing out of the ordinary.

They have been using them in PHL to supplement A320s on certain days.

At JFK last Saturday morning around 6AM... there were FIVE JM aircraft on the ground at T4. 4 A320/321 and 1 A340!

I would imagine that Miami Air's 737-800s might actually seat more than JM's standard 320.

Does anyone know if JM's IAH service has been hurt by CO's IAH-Montego Bay route?

Also, does anyone know if JM and CO will codeshare in the future?

I have been seeing Miami Air's N732MA almost everyday at FLL. It may be that it's just on Miami's daily Arrivals. Or infact a fill for JM. He's getting in between 4 - 4:30pm.
