Any Books About C.R. Smith?

Wed Jul 21, 2004 9:16 am

Just wondering if anyone knows if there were ever any books written about C.R. Smith who was president of American for many, many years. I did a search but if there was one mentioned I missed it. Thanks

Bob Serling's "Eagle" is ostensibly a history of American Airlines but in truth is essentially a veritable unofficial biography of C.R.Smith. Like all Serling books, it is well worth the read - but it is not particularly easy to locate.

Very good book to read.

Try this link. Should be available through Amazon.com

(Another good book by Serling is Legend and Legacy: The Story of Boeing and Its People)
