TE New Flights To DUB

Fri Jul 23, 2004 12:34 am

From August 1, 2004 Lithuanian Airlines will introduce the scheduled operations to Dublin. The direct flights from Vilnius International Airport to Dublin will be operated with Boeing 737-500 aircraft three times per week.
Air Baltic also offer three flights a week on the route, only began in May. Excellent News for DUB, but will the route be able to sustain two carriers operating six flights a week on the route????

In fairness there does seem to be a large population of Lithuanians and Latvians at least down South so perhaps this might be feasible. I presume AirBaltic are using their RJs to Riga tho also so there may be room for both to Vilnius.

Remember that Air Baltic also have the SAS link which might be a lure for business passengers.
