Turkish Airlines - Bahrain > Istanbul (737-800)

Sat Jul 24, 2004 10:58 pm

Hello,

I am flying to from Bahrain to Berlin (Tegel) via Istanbul on August 15th. The CRS states the aircraft in use is the Boeing 737-800. Are all Turkish Airlines 737-800s fitted with winglets and by how much is the aircraft's range increased? Are there any differences in interior fittings (seat pitch and width) when compared to TKs 737-400s?

Thanks for the feedback

EurostarVA,

Out of the 26 737-800 in service in THY, only three has winglets.
TC-JFT, TC-JGE, TC- JGF
The rest don't have the winglets yet.

737-400 and 737-800 in THY have pretty much the same interior, blue leather seats. (except 3 737-400s leased from Asiana)

The only difference is 737-400s don't have the flight information system.
