Which Planes Did I Fly?

Fri Jul 30, 2004 6:51 pm

I recently flew GIG-GRU-JFK on AA 772 and JFK-SEA on AA 752. I asked the FAs for the registrations but they didn't know. I wonder if anyone here would know.

The GIG-GRU-JFK flight was #950, left GIG on Jun 26, 2004 at 18:25. The FA didn't know the registration, but what he did know was that this wasn't the triple-seven that usually does the GIG-GRU-JFK route, but one of AA's Asia/Pacific 772s.

The JFK-SEA was #199, scheduled to leave JFK at 07:30 but left late at 08:15, on Jun 27, 2004.

Thanks in advance.

This site will tell you the registration, but you will have to wait a few months after the flight is over: http://www.bts.gov/programs/airline_information/airline_ontime_statistics/.

Next time try to look on the nose gear door for the ship #. Might be just numbers or a combination of letters and numbers, ie: 5TG, or 626 etc. With a little reasearch with the ship #'s you'll be able to find the N number.

Justin's right and if you see with their ship number at the aircraft and ask for your gate agent will give you them out with their ship number, ok? Thanks!

I have found it a very rare occasion that the gate agent knows the registration, cares, or gives it out due to "security reasons".

I didn't even bother to ask my gate agent for the aircraft's registration... I was having dinner with my family at the airport and only showed up on the last call for boarding. Since she was a bit of a b¡tch during check-in, I decided it would be better to simply ignore her presence the second time around  Smile

Thanks for the link, though. That should help, whenever they add the June flights, that is.

Actually, now that I took a better look at it, that link will only help me with the JFK-SEA flight, as it only lists domestic US flights...

I thought that one would be able to select "destination" for an arriving international flight, but it appears that cannot be done.

I suggest posting a new topic with something like "AA International Flight Reg Help".

Wouldn't a new topic for pretty much the same question be overkill?
