VS And Old Colors

Hey


I was wondering in any one knew if all of VS's 747s and 343s have been painted in there new colors?

Yes they have, the last a/c was painted about 6 months ago.

Is there anyone on the boards besides me who prefers the "old" colors? Much more of a classic!

Sorry, pal, but Silver Dream Machine and Oyster Shell White all the way!

I was in LHR in November, and I saw "Dragon Lady" in the old colors, and a few weeks later, she was in the new colors.

I don't mind the revised livery, but I certainly preferred the original cabin crew uniforms! They were distinctive and smart-as-hell looking. The current uniforms are just ho-hum.

I never really liked the second colors that much. I don't know, a plain all-white fuselage never seemed to represent Virgin, or their CEO. It was just too plain.

The newer livery looks modern and upbeat, retaining the classic "Virgin" tail yet giving it a wonderful metallic look. You should see how beautiful their 'planes look on a sunny day with the paint sparkling!

Although I don't think they should've gotten rid of the original livery in the first place. Bring back the cheatline!

OB, I second you. Although I like all VS's color schemes I do favour the cheat line, it just looked very distinguished. But I guess as times change so do liveries.

Virgin's aircraft are always so clean, not like BA's, which look like they've flown through a mud bath.

The cheatline never did much for me, and to me, it is kind of like the whole world stops when I see a VS 744.  Love
