UA 100 LAX-ORD 777, Two-Class Or Three-Class?

Wed Aug 04, 2004 1:10 pm

It seems I'll be traveling UA to LAX in October (PIT to LAX via ORD). I was looking at the early morning 6:30 am ORD departure out of LAX (for the returning portion of the trip), UA 100. Would anyone be able to tell me if that 777 is generally a two-class or international three-class aircraft scheduled for that flight? Thanks in advance.  Big thumbs up

I have flown to ORD three times on a 777...twice it was the three class, but those were in November, 2002, and May, 2003. When I flew again in May, 2004, it was back to the two-class. I asked a f/a, and she replied that most of the 3-class 777's are being switched to the international services, primarily Asia.

Too bad - the first class on the three-class 777 had everything except servants with palm fronds - now THAT was impressive!
