Continental Hiring Flight Attendants Soon?

Thu Aug 05, 2004 3:15 pm

Continental has added the Flight Attendant Positions Tab to it's career section of its website but still says they are not hiring YET. I heard from some flight attendants at CO that they want to start 6 classes this coming March. Does anyone know if this is true? I really would love to know

Reccently heard that it would be still minimum of two years before they even review applicants.

I would expect CoEx (a.k.a. ExpressJet) to be hiring before CO.

I've heard that an ad was placed in some Houston-area newspaper calling for Italian and German speaking flight attendants for Continental. Don't know if it's true or not, but this would coincide with their plans to launch flights to Frankfurt, and possibly Rome/Milan, from Houston.

On my orriginal post I forgot to mention that most of the mainline carriers have laid off a lot of flight attendants, So those folks will be called back to work before they start recruiting...However, some carrieis to look into for a job would be the following...
AS
FL
B6
F9
WN
HP
* Most regionals are also going ot be hiring and would be the best bet! Good luck to you!
