Mystery 747 At Frankfurt-Hahn

Sat Aug 07, 2004 8:14 am

I was just at HHN today and I saw a 747-200 and it was a freighter. It was painted in all blue as if it used to be with either KLM or Korean Air. It looked to be more like a former Korean Air jet but I am not sure. I couldn't read out the registration but I can tell you that it was doing charter cargo operations from Hahn and I need help identifying it. It was just a blue body with no titles. Can anyone out there help me identify this thing?

Cheers...

Could have been this one, operated by MK Airlines:

Wow! That surely looks like ex-KLM! Anyone knows if that's true?

Pia747 is correct, if you make the first photo full screen and look very carefully you can see the outline of the korean air emblem. (this may only work on hig resolution screens)

If Continental had a hub at DFW with nonstop flights I would always fly them, unfortunantely good things take time.
