7E7 Enters Boeing Queue.

Sat Aug 07, 2004 1:13 pm

Just thought that I'd bring to every-ones attention. That the Dreamliner has entered the Boeing Commercial Aircraft Orders page.

I guess Boeing just might know what it's doing............  Smokin cool

Still only 50, Boeing better get on the ball if they expect to hit that 400, or whatever, order mark they boasted about  Big grin

Based on current negotiations and signed purchase agreements which aren't orders but the bulk of which Boeing expects to be firmed up into orders, Boeing expects to have 200 firm 7E7 orders by yearend. They also project that there could be up to 500 orders by Entry Into Service. These seem like somewhat high targets, to me, but are said to be plausible, given that interest in the 7E7 is the highest BCA has ever seen for any of their models.
