Blue Panorama Leased A B734 To Cubana

Sat Aug 07, 2004 4:05 pm

Just to inform you yesterday a Blue Panorama Boeing 737/400 left Italy to Havana in order to be based in HAV for some months and fly on Cubana international network.
Crew will be provided by BV.

BV is also flying in code sharing with CU all the Cuba-Italy routes (8 weekly flights).

Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought Cubana wasn't allowed to use an American product under the Cubana name? Maybe it will be in Blue Panorama colors.....

I think it's time Cuba and The United States get over the shit from the past and let Cubana order some 777's!!! Big grin

I flew several times on AOM DC10s that also had large Cubana stickers on them, so I don't think it's such a problem.

It will probably be used on the YYZ route no doubt.

Hey if Blue Panorama is still around to receive them, they may decide to lease their 7E7s to Cubana, before any U.S. carrier has them! Big grin

Funny to say, but thank to the code sharing with BV on Italy-Cuba routes, Cubana will be one of the first airlines to offer B7E7 to their passengers..... Big thumbs up

Meant to answer this one yesterday, but Blue Panorama leased a 737-400 to Cubana in the past. I want to say it was during 2001.
