Service From PAE To PDX, SFO, LAX, PHX?

Wed Aug 11, 2004 12:39 pm

I know it's been discussed before, but this it the first time a report actually came out and said there is a market for service out of PAE. I think it would be great to see a regional airport in Seattle. Most other major cities in US have an alt. airport and it's time for Seattle to have one.

Detroit doesn't really have an alternate airport at this point in time unless you want to count Lansing, Flint, or Toledo.

I saw this on the website for Northwest Cable News today as well...cool! I'd love to see it myself, but wish it had been done many years ago.

Given the population in this general area (I live 2 miles from PAE) it would take a big % of the traffic into/out of SEA. Having to drive and park there is expensive, not to mention fighting traffic. Had this been done years ago, perhaps there wouldn't have been a need for the always-controversial 3rd runway at SEA.... Insane

IF it happens...........it will be YEARS from now.

After years of back and forth with the locals, the airlines, and not to mention BOEING. It may or may not happen. I vote NOT!!!

I really doubt that you could get enough traffic to justify anything of any money making in/out of PAE.

Maybe 1 or 2 flights a day to PDX, GEG, SLC, and SFO. Mainly as feeders to connect elsewhere. That would be about it.
You mad Bro???
