Continental Flight #'s? Any Employees?

Fri Aug 13, 2004 1:47 am

I currently hold a confirmed ticket on Continental for the routing of MSN-CLE-CMH-CLE-MSN in November. I can assign my seats on the CLE-CMH (flt#3218) and CMH-CLE (flt#2563) legs of the journey. My MSN-CLE and CLE-MSN are saying that they are unassignable. Continental currently has one of the flight numbers (flt#2899) assigned to a MSN-EWR flight, but my ticket shows that 2899 will be a CLE-MSN sector. When is this switch going to occur, and when can I assing my seats for my MSN-CLE (flt#3231) and CLE-MSN (flt#2899) flights?
Hey Obama, keep the change! I want my dollar back.

I can guess at one part, and definately answer another.

As far as your seat assignments are concerned, you may receive assignments at check in for those flights, which you can do online 30 hours before departure. Before that, you will not have a seat assignment.

Regarding your flight number, if I read what you wrote correctly, I'd assume 2899 flights MSN-CLE-EWR, so all you do is get off in CLE!

According to CO's website, flt 2899 goes from MSN to EWR... according to my ticket, its a CLE-MSN leg... sorry bout the confusion.
