Delta Express At LGA (or Lack Thereof)

Fri Aug 13, 2004 10:47 am

I remember back in the old DLEX days, when all you got on JFK-FLL was a chair on the airplane, that DLEX flew from EWR, ISP, and JFK, but they elected to stick to Delta mainline at LGA...was there any reason why LGA was excused from this type of extreme torture, whereas EWR, ISP, and JFK were stuck with the no-frills Delta Express?

LaGuardia is a higher yielding market, and FLL-LGA yields actually were not bad at all. Though now with five airlines and 28 daily flights on FLL-LGA, it is a different story.
