However don't forget that, excluding FR
is the only airport for Frankfurt, and has three runways so more slots. I've always thought it would be interesting to look at which city
has nonstop service to most destinations. London, with five airports, has in total a huge number of destinations on offer that I expect is considerably greater than from FRA
combined. There are many airlines that for economic or slot constraint reasons cannot operate from LHR
so consequently operate out of LGW
(not talking about locos) instead. There are also a huge number of low cost destinations served from LTN
