Daniel, accept my congratulations for this brilliant piece of work! and I'm sorry, I couldn't help starting a discussion.  Big thumbs up

I have a question. Does that not look like a pretty steep angle of ascent for a 747? I guess it must be pretty close to stalling!

I think it's just an optical illusion. The plane has a normal climbing rate but it looks indeed steep.

But a GREAT shot!

Yes, looks pretty steep indeed.
You even can calculate the angle o.A. by using the two touchdown zone markers. in reality they have dimensions based on FAA (IIRC) regulations, now that we have the undistorted width of the runway (Wich we can read out in any airport chart we now easily can calculate the aircrafts angle
... bit I'm far to lazy now  Smile/happy/getting dizzy
