FF Miles On AS And AA

Thu Aug 19, 2004 11:32 am

I am going to open a new Bank of America account and have the option to earn FF miles on AS with the check card they give me. I already have an AAdvantage account and was wondering if I can transfer the AS miles I earn to my AA account. Any help would be greatly appreciated. -- Scott

Aloha Scott - You can't transfer miles between accounts, but you can use AS miles to purchase AA tickets. I just did a RT OGG-SEA on AA/AS. They even allow you to do the whole trip via the website, vs. sitting on hold w/ a Awards Agent.

Hope that helps

If AA miles is what you want, why don't you go for the Citibank Debit Card that allows you to earn AA miles? Of course, you'd probably want to make sure there's Citibanks close to where you live!
