Airbus A330 - premium cabin 2-4-2 (generous of them to use standard scheduled airline layout in premium - mytravel do 2-3-2 in their A330 Premium cabin!). 3-3-3 in main cabin. Seat pitch 34" in premium possibly only 28" in main (main cabin is VERY cramped)

Try and get seats near the back of the aircraft. For where the fueselage curves in, the configuration goes to 2-3-2 and there is more aisle space. Are you on a direct flight or on a stopover in Bahrain? Because some of the flights that stop in Bahrain are operated by A300's.

thanks for the info chaps, it sounds like an A300 to me as the flight involves a stop in the middle east.

Well, i'm not sure how the setup is going to work this year, but last winter there were three flights to Malé on the sunday, two were direct (one from Manchester) and one stopped in Bahrain. Now the direct flights are obviously going to take the A330's so the Bahrain flight would have been left with A300's. I think sometimes you can even get B757's on that route? But that may have been years ago.

Have a good flight anyway (i presume its you who's flying  Big grin)
