BA Cabin Crew Now Involved In Strike Talks

Sat Aug 21, 2004 6:12 am

BBC News is reporting that BA's cabin crew unions are now involved in the strike talks. Apparently they believe that cabin crew should not be treated the same way as other staff when it comes to managing sickness absence. They seem to think that they should be entitled to more sickness absence than others because they are not allowed to fly with minor ailments such as earache. I know it sounds daft, but it's absolutely true!
