Boeing 727-225 EC-IMY

Sat Aug 21, 2004 8:09 am

I was indeed surprised and satisfied to see such a fantastic airliner around - and even at ZRH (an airport that is known for its harsh noise regulations). My question now, how much longer will the glory last? Yesterday, on August 20th, the JCS flights were operated by Air Adriatic MD-80 and By EDW A320, and for today, the 21st, the only JCS flight is announced to be operated again by the Croatian Super Eighty (not bad, either, but a 727 nowadays is still something like a hearty meal after some time of fasting). So, is that it for EC-IMY and JCS, or will it return and delight our hungry hearts again?

Keep the TriJets in the skies,

cheers

NO, it is gone back to spain! Sorry!

The aircraft was chartered by tour company "Prishtina Travel", this company took now an own A320... Very sad!

But they ha problems to start ops, that's the reason why Air Adriatic was doing flights from Zurich.

BTW. you have missed the best chance! A brooker sold very cheap ow-flights of this bird from Zurich to Madrid (their last flight from Swiss skies!)!

Thanks Debonair,

well, the probably last scheduled 727 in ZRH has thus disappeared...

sad as it is, at least Air Prishtina`s colourscheme is quite alright,

cheers

Does anyone knows how long the Air Adriatic MD-82 will operate these flights?

717fan, Jet Club's A320 HB-IJZ has yet to perform a test flight in order to proof that they are capable to operate this type of aircraft (requirement of FOCA). The test flight will most probably be next Tuesday (not confirmed though) so till then, Jet Club will lease some other aircraft (so far it was Edelweiss A320's, Air Adriatic MD82 and Spanair MD82).
