American Eagle Fleet

Sun Aug 22, 2004 3:31 am

I hope that someone can help me with following problem: I need to know the fleet size of all single aircraft types in the American Eagle fleet, i.E.: How many Saab 340, how many ERJ-135s etc.

The info on the AA homepage was not really helpful, so I would be very grateful for nay help.

Thanks

OK, here we go:

AMERICAN EAGLE:

ATR42 5
ATR72 42
CRJ700 25
EMB135 39
EMB140 59
EMB145 76
SAAB340 70
SAAB340 18 (inactive)

AMERICAN CONNECTION;

ATR42 5
ATR72 3
JS41 22
JS32 17
EMB140 15

Hope that helps.

there are far less than 70 active Saab's, the number is more like in the 20's or 30's if I remember.

Im wondering about those ATRs in the AA Connection fleet. The only route that I know of them being operated on is the STL-IND route and that is only 3 flights a day. Do they really have 8 still?

TSA has an ATR-72 and one ATR-42 still operating in the AA system. I think those will be gone soon as well.
