Airblue - I would certainly not call CIA
's transport system "bad" for it is exceedingly easy to catch the airport bus (which seems to meet the arriving planes) and get to downtown Rome (Termini) in about 40 minutes. It's very convenient and simple, and only 10 minutes longer than getting from FCO
to the same station by train.
As for BVA
- there was a report on a TV
channel a couple of years ago about 3 people flying to ORY
with the sole intention of seeing who could reach central Paris (a specific tourist site) in the shortest possible time using public transport. Believe it or not, but the person flying FR
got there the quickest!
And that's no rubbish. The explaination, I guess, is, in part, due to BVA
being tiny and so it's easy to find the right bus and be on your way without any hanging around, unlike navigating yourself around the maze at CDG
