Undoubtedly the first 1500m of the take-off roll!

Id have to say the same! hehe

Its the best feeling
Thought I loooooove the landing too... especially on a small plane like the 727 or A320.... the 747 kandings tend to be a bit chunky and dont feel like a propper landing!

Man i miss the 727 take off... i had the best experience on that last week! then i got onto a 747-400 2 hrs later and it wasnt half as good!

Mine's the thrust reversers part on an old A300, where it feels like an earthquake, the overhead bins can't hold out any longer and the cabin seems like its going to fall apart.

Even though I have flown hundreds of times the take off does it for me.I get such a rush from the engines speeding up then up up and away!!!I wrote my best take off in the forum yesterday.

Best Parts

When the pilot throttles up the engines and you're pushed back against your seat....takeoff roll...takeoff (great views plus there's nothing like the feeling when you rotate & lift off)....climb (again great views).....approach (great views and turns)......Final (seeing the flaps come out plus more great views).....landing (more views, plus you get the feeling of speed when the speedbrakes are applied!!!)

The meals? I can go to a restaurant.
Inflight? Can be boring if theres nothing to see outside

Mine has to be the take-off roll in a CRJ. Man, what a rocket...

My name is Scott, and I am addicted to writing obnoxiously-detailed trip reports.

The take off is the best! I love the feel of the Rolls Royce/P+W engines roaring down the runway. So much power. It feels great when you are at 0mph, then all of a sudden, BOOM, you accelerate at such a great rate down the runway from the threshold!

The Climb out is a great too. It gives you a spectacular view of the city and it feels great that everyone outside can hear your jet flying by and they think, "man I wish I were on the plane right now"!

The Cruise- As long as I get a PTV!

The final approach is good as long as you can feel the plane pitch forward a bit. Then you can feel how fast you are really going. And then you can hear the "thump, thump" of the landing gears lowering and seeing the flaps lowered.

The thrust reversing part is fun. You get forced up in front of the seat. It's really fun when the pilots tap the brakes and you feel a slight jolt. And when you take a look at the spoilers spoiling the flow, it feels like the wing is falling apart!

I just can't choose which part is the best!  All of them are great except when you are pulling up to the gate which means an end to another flight!

Takeoff is a great part of the flight, with the power and acceleration. Climbout, I dont know why, is usually the part that makes me queezy. I love flying, and fly small planes myself, but climbout in a jet always makes me feel odd   Cruise is very boring until you get the meal, then you have something to eat and a reason to bitch and complain after   I dont mind turbulence at all. Descent and approach is my favourite part, coming closer to the ground. Landing, however, is my favourite part of the ride. Touchdown and watching the spoilers deploy while feeling the deceleration and roar of the thrust reversers is a great feeling

However, the 'thank god it's over' part is more like 'sweet let's go again!' for me

I have a nice memory of DL MD11 landing in CVG (from FRA). We touched down at about 225MPH (according to 'flight tracking' system). The speed was really high, I had a window seat and we were speeding like crazy on touchdown (much much faster than on our touchdown at LAX a couple of hours later).
On that occasion I realized what the MD11's brakes are capable of. Incredible, REALLY incredible!

I seriously think I just creamed my pants without any influence from any outside variables.

Take-offs are best in a 757 with the RR engines. Its overpowered and they don't roar, they purr.

Approach is best in any aircraft if your right behind the wing.

Landing is the best if your at the back of a tail mounted engine aircraft that isn't Stage III. Nice and noisy on the DC-9's when the reverse thrust is applied.

The worst part is leaving the plane

Of course its all good if your in the cockpit.

The best part of a commercial flight is when the pilot applies the thrust reversers. The best part of a flight that I am flying, is after I am all set up for an approach and just watching the ILS until I see the runway. That is the best.

To be honest, I like the whole thing. There isn't one part I don't like!

My favorite part of the flight is the takeoff. I like that point where the plane just starts to rotate and you think to yourself that there is a split second where you are right between flying and driving then the lift takes over and you rush away from the ground. Amazing! The climb out also makes me a bit queezy. I have never been a big fan of the climb at all. I do like the descent though and being on final. That is pretty cool as well.

I like Taxiing. Best time to get pictures and too see what the other airport looks like. I also like the pre boarding wait, because of the excitment in the air.

I love take-offs and landings the best! I try to pick flights with as many lay-overs as possible.

I'm with you "Scooter", I love takeoff on all aircraft but the CRJ take-off is like a rocket.

I was fortunate enough to go on a training flight of a CRJ-200 where they were doing airfield performance testing. There were 5 pax on the 50 seater, and believe me, she gets up and boogies.

For those who have not yet experienced it, with a light load on the CRJ-200 you are basically stuck to the back of your seat until about FL50 when they reduce the climb angle a bit. It felt as though the aircraft was at a 45 degree climb angle until this stage - totally awesome!!!!
