The flight schedule is as follow:

Nov.6 '04 - Mar.26 '05:

Amsterdam - Crown Point
Saturday
MP659
dep:....11:30
Arr:.....23:05
via Porlamar

Crown Point - Amsterdam
Saturday
MP659
dep:....20:20
arr:.....10:15*
Non-stop

*next day"

A friend just sent me this email. This is great news for TAB. I think that slowly but surely Tobago's full tourism potential is being realized.
There is something special about planes....

I was in Tobagos last weekend.
What a great little secret, nice quiet and relatively undiscovered.
I am afraid any major increase in tourism will ruin its existing charm.
However, we had to fly really old JAT DC-9 with all doors on the overhead bins removed for the 15 minutes flight between Trinidad and Tobagos, so I guess any direct service is better.

Bye bye non-stop flight from Porlamar (Margarita Island) to AMS. It was nice while it lasted.

Hi, I have a short question, sorry it is not worth to start a new topic!! but slightly off-topic!

I heard MARTINAIR will re-direct some flights via MIA. from there connecting flights on a B737?? Which type and airline will do these services??

ThanX

It will be the lovely B738's wetleased from Miami Air. No problem seems to me. (Supported by Delta Maintenance wise....too bad.)

Yes, that is great news for Tobago. I hope that the new service is a success but above all I hope that the inexorable growth of tourism there does not result in the society and environment of Tobago being spoilt. So far this does not appear to be the case and hopefully it remains so.

I always was under the impression that the flights between AMS-Porlamar were charter flights or am I wrong in thinking this? Or are they just combining charter flight to Porlamar with scheduled to TAB?
