Thu Sep 02, 2004 8:49 am

Just as the heading says, are there any new pics of the monster 380?

It's not a monster... It's the KING of the skies!  Laugh out loud

I'd say that at the moment if it's king of anything it would be the assembly hall
it's being built in. Certainly not the sky, at least not yet...

Could we then say, Solnabo, that "Elvis has left the building"? After all, I lot of people considered him to be "The King" (of rock and roll). Just an analogy!  Big grin

Pictures are very hard to find, everything is log-in or "Error 404." Not a lot of pictures out there.

I remember watching a 1 hour documentary about the Airbus A380 design, production, vendor-distribution/shipping, transportation & final-assembly facilities. I think this might have been it. It aired on one of the Discovery Channels.

Travel Tech on The Travel Channel will have the following program:

The Elvis analogy works best with the fat, bloated Elvis of later years.

Those represent the drop tanks that will later be offered as a factory option, effectively increasing the aircraft's usable range by several hundred miles.
