BWI Spotting Help

Sat Sep 04, 2004 2:04 am

I just found out that I have to take my roomie to the airport this afternoon and decided that I should do some spotting while I'm out there. However, I've only lived in Baltimore for two weeks and don't know a thing about spotting at BWI, other than the fact that I know there's an observation area next to the WN check-in area. After doing a search on the topic, the last thing I was able to find was in 2002, so......

If anyone has any advice on spotting at BWI (location, how the cops are, etc) and happens to read this in the next 2 1/2 hours, I'd sure appreciate any advice.

Thanks
NS

Observation park at the Dorsey Road. From the terminal take airport loop to long term parking lot. At the end of runway 33L you will see small parking lot with people in it. Thats the best place so far.
And its only good if they use runway 33 for arrivals.

Thanks for the info. Hopefully 33L will be active.
