Interesting ATL And MIA Air Traffic!

Sat Sep 04, 2004 9:09 am

Check out all the air traffic heading into ATL. Then, check out the air traffic around MIA There is a grand total of one plane in MIA airspace. As for ATL, there are over 150 flights in ATL airspace. Check out where most of the flights are coming from and the time of night. Looks like most airlines are flying their planes into ATL to ride out the storm.

Maybe someone around the ATL area could come up with a ATL overview shot. They will probably have planes parked all over the place if this is the case.

MIA is open. Needless to say, most flights are canceled, but any airline that wishes to operate their flights to MIA can.

Yea there was a mad rush with GA aircraft to Key West on Friday to protect there planes. Continental Connection sent there whole fleet to Key West. Heard American sent there fleet based in MIA to Alabama. They might be back sunday early monday.
