Sun Sep 05, 2004 6:14 pm

I drove past one of the SAA 747 t LHR the other day (didnt note which one) and noticed that there were several windows blanked out in the section between '1st class and the wing) ie the forwsrd BA Club world bit.
Any reason for this? I would saay there werer at least 7/8 so done

If it is the normal SAA configuration, then probably as 777ER says the central galley/toilet area. If you are curious have a look at the seat plans on SAA's website for the 744s.

777ER is correct. The galley/cart lift section is on the right and towards the middle of the plane. On the left side there are toilets and the purser workstation. The stairs for the UD are also located here.
