Bangkok Air - More Planes In 2005

Mon Sep 06, 2004 4:17 pm

They will add 2 more A-320 together with 1 more B-717. It is not mentioned if these planes will be new orders, but I believe they will lease them.

I love me some Bangkok Air. I flew BKK-USM r/t to the Full Moon Party last year and BKK-USM then USM-SIN this year. Their 717's are great, and the ATR-72 wasn't too bad either. They had a hot meal on 3 out of the 4 flights I took with them. Only thing is Thailand loves to collect some random fees at the airport before you can depart. It was 500 bhat (US $13) to leave the country and USM also tacked on 400 bhat for an airport improvement fee.

I wonder where they plan to fly the A320's? How many 717's do they have now? I think they only had like 4 when I flew them in Feb.
