Which Airline Is HM?

Mon Sep 06, 2004 8:03 pm

Sorry for what may seem like a stupid question, but I was on the M25 under the landing flightpath into Heathrow and I noticed an aircraft livery/airline which I didn't recognise...it landed just ahead of a United 777 at about 8.21 and having looked at BAA's website, it appears to be the following flight - 07.30 HM002Y ROME LANDED 0821 TERMINAL 1.

Who are HM and was this the flight? I couldn't make out the airline name but it looked like Air xxxxx

Many thanks!

No one jump on me if this is wrong- I'm at the end of a long day here, but from memory I believe it is Air Seychelles.

It is indeed Air Seychelles. Although I thought they now flew into LGW instead of LHR?

I think they moved over from LGW last year. Certainly saw a 763 parked
at T1 a couple of months ago.

Since airlinecodes.co.uk are no more, wouldn't be a complete IATA airline/airport database as integral part of a.net a nice feature?

Not quite as good as airlinecodes but decent enough:

Correct, HM now operate out of LHR's T1 with a friday and sunday service.

The sunday HM002 / HM001 SEZ-LHR-SEZ service was postponed until monday due to a technical fault on the aircraft.

Hence the unusual monday HM showing at LHR !

Hope it helps.
