DL 757 In SBN Yesterday

Tue Sep 07, 2004 12:36 am

Hello!

This is my first topic to post on a.net! I work in SBN and yesterday morning, Sunday September 5, at about 5:30am, a Delta 757 took off! SBN only gets regionals, so I wanted to know if anyone knew what it was doing there.

Thanks!

There was also an AirTran 737 at SBN yesterday.
I work for Southwest, but the views expressed are my own and do not necessarily represent those of Southwest.

The other day (Saturday) there was a NW 757-200 at COS, I figured that it was probably a charter for Cal who came to play Air Force, then again, NW has had several planes here, like 747-200's for military charters.

Jetblue:

It was probably Notre Dame Football's red-eye from Utah. I believe Delta is the football teams preferred carrier.

B764 -

Thanks for the info! Someone at the airport advised me that was probably the most likely scenario. For some reason I was under the impression they had a home game. But looking at the outbound loads for next Sunday, the home game is definitely next weekend.

I appreciate your positive response!

It's next weekend, NW is briging in DC-9's as well from DTW and MSP. I would have loved to have been there!

What do you do at SBN?

Tis the season for different planes in different places with college football up and running. They require so much room for +60 people and large equipment. They can't fly regular flights.
