Recently I visited China Southern's Web page. I expected that it could be a good informative site with all the standard online reservation system. That's because they are joining SkyTeam, I assume they should have met certain requirements. But to my disappointment, they don't even run spell check on their site, full of mistakes and the reservation process is very confusing. They don't differentiate first name and last name. I might worry what they were going to do at check-in if people's names were incorrect. Worse was the payment page. Looks like they direct you to a local payment company, so called "China UnionPay", which has a page with far worse English.
Warning: When the cardholder to abstract money on the ATM, to consume on the POS
,and to check the account in the telephone, please make sure to keep the person message like card number, Cryptogram , acknowledgement, and don't use this system in the network bar.
Will you dare enter your credit card number on such a page?
Who's been on board, how is their other services anyway? I'll travel from Shanghai to Guangzhou. My friend told me Chinese airlines are all pretty much the same. Which should I choose and how do I pay? Maybe I'd prefer Star Alliance's way that they wait until Air China or Shanghai Airlines fully met the standard.
