Locating Flight Manifest Archives

Mon Sep 13, 2004 5:33 am

Back in the early-mid 1970's I was very young, but trips to Italy with my parents started my obsession with aviation and airliners.

I was old enough to remember the airliner itself, but way too young to know what their registration numbers were.

I flew on a Pan Am 747 in 1971 when I was about 2 years old, a TWA 707 in 1975 when I was around 5, and several Alitalia DC-8's in the mid to late 70's.

Is there some FAA database that is searchable online, or some FAA department that maintains flight manifests that far back that I can find out when and what aircraft I flew on?

Any help appreciated!
