PHOENIX, Sept. 13 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- America West Airlines (NYSE
: AWA - News), the nation's second largest low-cost airline, announced today that it will initiate nonstop service between its Phoenix hub and Sioux Falls, S.D. on Dec. 18, 2004. With this new service, America West will offer nonstop service from Phoenix to more than 90 destinations with 322 daily departures. In keeping with America West's commitment to providing great value across its network, the new route will feature everyday low fares and no Saturday night stay requirements.

The new flight will be provided by America West Express, which is operated by subsidiary airlines of Mesa Air Group, utilizing Canadair Regional Jet aircraft. Flight information is shown below:
