What Would You Do If...

What would you do if you got to land a plane without VOR, DME, ILS. Only with radio communications with tower and your own Airspeed & altimeter??? Of course with good weather.

Just wondering. But is a good challenge though.

That is no problem I do that every flight! You look for the runway and judge accordingly.
You can even do it with bad weather the tower gives you heading to follor and when you are over a certain point they will clear you to descend it really is no big deal!

I land like that all the time  However, if the weather's bad, the controller can not clear you to descend below his minimum vectoring altitude, so if the bases are below that, you have to go somewhere else.
