Thanks for the update on DGS.... I can admit when I am wrong!... I have a question however..was DGS at one time a sub contractor..??? I was told they were because they displaced DL
employees... seems like the DL
employees would have a hard time working next to a company that DL
has used to displace loyal DL
employees... A friend of mine works on the ramp in SEA
cut back on his OT
and he asked if he could work part time for DGS there in SEA
... he was told no way he could do that and that he would have to quit DL
to work for them.... Sure seems counter productive to me... and a strange relationship.. especially when a DL
ramper sees DGS growing in the same city where they work side by side... this would be bad for DL
employee morale I would think..
It is interesting to note that DL
will start GEG
/PSC service again... out of SLC
I presume..??? Will DL
be using DL
employees is GEG
/PSC... or will AS
contract for them there..??
I don't think you can base DL
staying in a market by how much money they have invested there... look at DFW
... talk about millions lost!!!
