E170 Currently Being Built Destiny?

Sun Sep 19, 2004 6:02 am

What will happen to the E170 currently being built for USAirways? Will they be modified and delivered beforehand to Finnair as LOT and Alitalia already received theirs? Or will they be converted to E190 and delivered to JetBlue one year in advance, pending of course, the model´s certification?

If necessary white-tails I guess. No way they can convert them into Embraer 190s, have to stay 170s. They can only try to advance some deliveries to other customers, but the customer base is still small and I doubt that they are able to place all of them without serious problems as they are already specified to US specifications.
