At the moment two A320s aren't going to have much impact on SQ
's 2 or 3 daily B777s and QF
's daily 2 x B767 or 1 x B767 + 1 x B747, so I assume there will be follow up fleet announcements soon.
Be interesting to see the impact, I wouldn't have thought that the commuting Singapore to/from South Singapore (aka Perth) market was the same as say Perth - Denpasar. On that route Garuda and Qantas can get away with B737s in competition with Air Paradise's A310s, but I guess that there may be a low end market for Valuair to exploit.
