Cancun Airport Question?

Tue Sep 21, 2004 11:22 am

I'm going to be Non-reving on sunday 9/26 out of Cancun. I already have n/r tickets on Mexicana, for CUN-MEX and on American, CUN-DFW. Here is the situation. The AA flt. is for 0650 departure and the MX flt. is for a 0700. Does anyone know how long until the gate agents will give me a boarding pass before they close the door, so i can maybe have a chance to either catch the MX if i cant' get on, My other question is how close are the gates to each other? One other question? Will AA allow n/r to sit in FC if there is no other seats in Coach, or will they just close the door with FC seats empty. Thank you .

About ten minutes in Mexicana if you wait at the departure gate.Ask for a stand by boarding pass.
Be aware that American will depart at the international area and Mexicana will be at domestic. Take you no more than 7 minutes from area to area.
Good luck
