CWL-LBA Charter?

Wed Sep 22, 2004 12:26 am

Hey,

Whilst browsing around Cardiff Airport's website - http://www.cial.co.uk..

I decided to check out the live Arrivals and Departures for CWL

I saw that Eastern Airways were operating a flight to LBA..

Flight Details:
T3023P Leeds Bradford 17:45

I guess this is a charter?

Can anyone confirm and has anyone got any more information on this flight?

Thanks,

Regards,

Christa

This is all just guesswork but here we go. The fact that the flight number has a P on the end would suggest that the flight is a positioning flight. Ie, flying empty from Cardiff to Leeds Bradford. Many airlines do this. Usually the flights do not appear on the public flight info boards but it is not uncommon to see one or two slip through. What the aircraft would be in Cardiff for I have no idea? Like I said this could all be wrong!

Hi Christa

Sorry this'll just make things more confusing but it positioned in from NWI as EZE022P about 40mins before it departed to Leeds!  Nuts

Cheers

I thought that the arrivals board showed the inbound flight as originating at Cambridge?!

Thought it was a bit odd at the time. Now that Air Wales are starting CWL-NWI, is there something about East Anglia that I don't know about?  Smile/happy/getting dizzy
