Concorde Show W/ Anet Photographers Today

Sat Sep 25, 2004 1:33 am

I just received notice again that today, Friday, at 4 PM, they are showing,

"Concorde: The Final Flight" on the Travel Channel in the USA.

It features Phil Derner, Jr., Art Brett, Matt Celmer, Futterman, and Andy Martin.

Have a look if you are interested. My POV in the show is based on the following trip report.

cheers, Mirrodie

Futt wasen't interviewed, but you could have spotted him setting up a camcorder as they cut to Howard Beach.

Thanks Mirrodie. As it happens, at that hour I was touring the Udvar-Hazy museum at IAD with a certain friend of ours. We spent much time admiring and talking about AF's "Fox-Alpha" on display. Your turn next to visit the Intrepid with our Concorde expert!

As yes, I know yor visitor well. We'll see OAD in the city and may hit hte San Gennaro festival as well.  Smile

When I come to the Hazy museum, I hope you'll come out again.

Someone offline asked about the blonde who was crying in the video. Turns out she got to fly Concorde on July 4, I recall she went the distance and actually took out a loan to do it, but it was bittersweet, as she was also flying Concorde to LHR for her father's funeral, hence the emotion caught on film.
