AA Flight 135 Diversion

Sat Sep 25, 2004 9:41 am

Does anybody know what happened today on AA 135. Have a relative on that flight and they made a diversion in Canada. They didn't know what was going on I was just wondering if anybody had any information on this.

Funny you said that too. I am in the Admirals Club right now and I don't see a 777. Better yet I cant even see it on finals. They are in first too so if they still have those phones on the 777 I don't know. But I quite frankly have no idea on how they called me.

Sorry for that inadequate update as I was on the computer with no viewing. I had just taken what I saw a few minuets ago. But they are at the gate. If that is the correct gate. It could also be a 763 but it is pulled up to the 777 line. Sorry for my inaccuracy. I am going back and forth between the computers and the windows. Long walk if you know L.A.'s admirals club.

Landed at Frobisher Bay (Iqaluit) and dropped off a passenger who was having some medical problems. The plane was airborn again in less than 2 hours.

If you don't know where Iqaluit is, take a look at a map. It's in the middle of nowhere....

How is it that an airport in the middle of nowhere can handle a 777? Or was it some military airstrip possibly?

Thanks for the help guys!
