So what will Airbus do to modify The A330, Gigneil?
While most of the fuselage will likely remain aluminum, they will probably update major structural components with weight saving composites, including the wingbox.
I would expect all new systems, a new wing, new engines, and of course a cockpit that matches the A380's.
They could always surprise everyone with more composite panels in the construction of the fuse.
Of course, there is just as much evidence that they'll go with a $8b completely new type as the $2b update to the 330.
