Great New Travel Site

Sun Sep 26, 2004 5:39 pm

I found this site a while back and thought I'd share it with everyone..........It is like the "Google" or "Airliners.net" of airfare searches!  Smile It basically searches all the airline websites plus all the discount websites and gives you the best available price.....They don't sell the tickets, they just tell you who has the best and link you to their site. I've used it a few times and from what I've seen, it always gives the lowest fares available at the moment.

I hope everyone enjoys it!

Thanks for the link, very interesting.
Anyhow, I find it very strange, that ticket prices vary widely, depending where the ticket is issued, so please take care.
E.g.
FRA-LAX 17. March 05, return 30. March 05
cheapest Mobissimo Result:
Delta (OPODO UK): 828,78 $

A quick search at a german airticket engine:
Delta (mcflight.de): 671,28 $ [Air India was even cheaper: 611.15 $]

The search engine seems to favor certain airlines for international flights. I ran several searches on it and I seem to get more variety from Orbitz and Expedia. In addition, fares don't seem to as competitive either. Perhaps the website's markup is a bit more than most or is still not as well-known.

I understand it's only in Beta phase.

Sorry I meant flexibility with Orbitz and Expedia direct.

The database is huge, however.
