LH 444

Sat Oct 02, 2004 8:07 am

does anybody know may be what aircraft is flying LH 444 FRA-ATL?
Iknow that this is 343, but I am not sure in what configuration.
I will fly this route probably on 18th so I am wondering if there will be the new BC.

I flew this route in June. Unfortunately, you probably won't be getting the new business class. LH typically sends D-AIMG, a former Sabena A343, to ATL. The interior has not been changed. The cabin is seen below:

It is only two class. Occasionally, LH will send a normal A343, which I suppose could be one with the new business class. On my return flight, we were given a normal LH A343, but that was only because of what I think were mechanical problems with the former Sabena aircraft. Whatever plane you get though, you should have a nice flight!

Airplanetire is right, until mid-August, there was almost a 100% chance that D-AIMG operates LH444. But since then, there has been a mix of different A340s (mainly -GI, -GS, -GX) operating this flight.
However I don´t know if those models have a 2- or 3-class configuration although I think that ATL probably gets the 2-class config. planes (remember that LH444 was operated by the ex-Lauda 767s for quite a while).

i looked it up and the info i got was, that on the 18th it will be a regular LH 343 (34V), no Sabena plane, with 2 class config.

Anyway, things can still change...

That's it! You people have stood in my way long enough. I'm going to clown college!
