CO Possibly Trying To Extend Flights In Texas?

Wed Oct 06, 2004 9:48 am

With all these new flights from Texas cities to mexcio, is it looking like CO might be trying to start some large COEX networks?

I think it is smart business. Texas (and the southwest as a whole) has huge ties with Mexico and Latin America in regards to tourism, trade, business links, and government. Mexico has consulates in every Texas town of size on the border, plus all the major inland cities. Houston, and San Antonio have huge sales tax rebate shops for Mexican citizens who travel frequently to the USA for shopping. The Houston ship channel has the biggest Latin Free trade zone in the USA. Just a few examples of the many areas where CO/COEX is tapping a growing market.
